LOCATION

Nestled in the heart of the Haut Languedoc Regional Natural Park, 5 minutes from Lamalou-les-Bains golf course, close to the Héric gorges and the Faugères vineyards, lies the unique, almost mysterious location of Herepian. Here is where the Couvent (Convent) is found.

The beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean are just a 50 minute drive from the Couvent d'Herepian; the closest beach being Valras-Plage.

Wine bar:
Next to the kitchen, under the intimate vaulted limestone ceilings of the ‘Cave’, you will find the Honesty Bar; a majestic and cool place that encourages social events. From 10PM, the bar operates on an honesty system: serve yourself directly from the bar and write down your consumptions along with your room number in the booklet.

Library Lounge:
If spiritual nourishment is what you crave, the intimate salon-library overlooking the garden is the perfect place to lose yourself in your thoughts. It harbours a stunning period fireplace for guests to laze around while perusing an art book, diving into a good novel, listening to music or simply admiring the winter fire’s flames from the comfy lounge chairs.

Le Couvent places a great importance in cooking its dishes following the great family traditions that characterise the region. The catering partners in the region concoct these dishes using top quality, fresh ingredients.

There are five types of accommodation at Le Couvent de Herepian:

- a village-facing suite with 1 bedroom,

- a garden-facing suite with 1 bedroom,

- a deluxe village-facing suite,

All the accommodations have a mini kitchen, internet, some English TV channels, air-con in the bedrooms and access to all the shared facilities.
