LES JARDINS DE SAINT BENOIT

Les Jardins de Saint Benoit is a village style resort, chic and luxurious, based in the village of Saint Laurent de la Cabrerisse, in the Languedoc region and Cathar country.

LOCATION

Saint Laurent de la Cabrerisse is a small village between Narbonne and Carcassonne in the Languedoc region of the south of France. The area is extremely picturesque a region of rich history, where the skies are blue, landscapes heart-stirring, and nature unspoilt. 30 - 40 minutes away by car are the glorious golden sand beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, and the Pyrenees, Spain and Andorra can all be reached by a relatively short car journey as well.

FACILITIES

The village style resort offers a very large shared pool (30m x 13m) and an additional children’s paddling pool with a play area. Many of the villas have their own private pool too. There is also a multi-sport ground for basketball and volleyball, and tennis courts and ping-pong. Bike hire is available on the resort and there are many arranged sporting activities - bike rides, fitness classes, boules. The majority of the resort is pedestrianised.

The gorgeous Spa has an indoor heated pool, a spa area which opens onto the swimming pool area with a jacuzzi, hydrotherapy, hammam, massages, facials, etc., a herbal tea room, de-tox cocktails, fresh juices and relaxation zone. You may also partake in wellness activities such as meditation, yoga, tai chi, amongst others.

Within the resort is The Bastide which consists of the reception, a chic restaurant and a cosy bar with comfortable sofas and a TV, and a conference centre. There is also the Terrace Café with panoramic views over the swimming pool, the gardens and surrounding countryside. Access is provided from The Bastide to the spa and its indoor pool under a vaulted ceiling, a sauna, a Jacuzzi, steam rooms and relaxation lounges. La Bastide des Jardins is a welcoming environment, a great place to meet up for a pre-dinner aperitif.

There is a small petting farm for children and a herb garden where you can freely pick any herbs you want to go with your meal preparation!

As the resort is in a village, you can walk to the village shops such as the boulangerie, a mini supermarket, and restaurants. Read your newspaper in the village café, shop for fresh produce in the local grocery store, during summer take a walk in the main aisles of St. Benoît to meet with producers and local artisans who come to the Resort to offer their products every Monday…

• Village Houses – these houses are all terraced with a small patio at the rear.
  • village house with 1 bedroom,
  • village house with 2 bedrooms,
  • superior village house with 2 bedrooms.
• Then there are the Vigneronne Houses which have a terrace, a small garden and a small private pool.
  • 3 bedrooms,
  • 4 bedrooms,
  • 5 bedrooms.
• All the accommodation types have a kitchen, internet, some English TV channels, air-con in the bedrooms and access to all the shared facilities.
