" “Nice, big, place.” Reviewed December 4, 2013 NEW The home is advertised as a large, restored 200 year old farm house. It is all of these things. While it may have been a farmhouse at one time, now it sits directly on the small town square and is completely surrounded by an older (with character) housing village. Upstairs there are four bedrooms restored to a "homey" style with one nice, large bathroom (tub, no shower) and small bathroom (shower, no tub) to share. Downstairs is a large kitchen with a big range, good collection of pots, plates, and glasses, a decent size dining room, and a big living room. Outside is a courtyard with a nice covered patio and a pool that could have been cleaner, all of which was surrounded by a big wall. It was important to have internet access, and, though promised it would be fixed, it never was. The manager only spoke French, so all communication was by text message. We ran out of toilet paper, and the clothes dryer was broken. However the owner left a gift of a bottle of wine, and gourmet local salt. Parking is on the street in front of the house. There is a nice local street market once a week and a wine cooperative (Hercules) on the road to the highway. It is in a good location to visit Nimes, Montpelier, and Aigues Mortes. In general this place was big, with a private garden area, and convenient to lots of tourist destinations. If you have a large group, this might be a good place to stay. "
" “Lovely apatment with great pool” Reviewed October 24, 2013 NEW I stayed here with my husband and teenage son. We had a really good holiday. Sue (who owns the apartment) was really friendly and gave us lots of local information. She really did want us to have a good holiday. There is a lot to do in the area. The beaches a lovely...some a short drive ..some further away. There are lots of local festivals and things happening during August. The apartment is good and the pool a real bonus. We are hoping to return some time soonish...Sue's dog Honey was very well behaved and lovely. Also, there are tennis courts behind the apartment to hire..very good surface. "

" “A beautiful site right on the beach- who needs a pool” Reviewed July 31, 2013 A brilliant campsite right on the beautiful sandy beach in the bay of Tropez. Travelling down from Nice (Easyjet) in our hire car was really easy and took about 2 hours. The campsite is clean and very friendly. Our "safari villa" a caravan to you and me was smaller than most in the UK but was more than adequate, it even had air conditioning, for two adults and two late end teenagers. They do not have ovens only a hob and microwave but this was no hardship. The wifi is great but 18 euros for a week which is a bit steep, it kept the kids amused though! Most people do not speak English in this region but the main reception team do as do the ladies in the take away as they are English!! There is no pool here but just about everything else you could want- tennis, sports area, kids club, beach bars, nightclub and restaurants, takeaways and nightly entertainment if that is your thing. We booked directly with the company but there are lots of other companies including Thomson who have vans that are slightly nearer the road but still not that far from the beach. We tended to get out and about to Monaco and Cannes and Grasse but with the beautiful "little Venice"of Port Grimaud 5 minutes walk out the site, you do not need to leave the area at all. There is an Aqua land just up the road (5 mins by car)but the one in Frejus (45 mins in the other direction) is much better for the same price. A boat trip across the bay to St Tropez is a must. A quaint fishing harbour awaits as do the jet set boats and cafe prices! withe he euro roughly 95p to the pound here(july 2013) nothing is very cheap but with big supermarkets and local restaurants it's no dearer than living in London. Will certainly be coming back maybe this time staying in one of the luxury beach front properties- I had better get saving!! "
" Traveler rating: "village and excellent place" Aug 30, 2013 A TripAdvisor Member Nice resort, clean, with a lot of mobile homes of different types, with a portion is used for camping. Inside there are 2 restaurants, bar with big screen, 2 market, spa, general store and in the evening there is also the market. On the beach seems to be in the Caribbean, there are also palm trees. The mobile homes belonging to different owners, we were with our 2 dogs "Cote d'Azur Holiday" on a German couple very nice people who speak French and who also have their dog. Another nice thing about the resort is just close to the center of Port Grimaud, built in the 60s, copying Venice with canals, bridges and numerous local, nice to walk around during the day and in the evening. A must visit to Saint Tropez 5 Km away Quite possibly one day we will return. "
