The historic town of Narbonne, once a city in Roman times is full of grand old buildings and littered with museums and ancient monuments. The town centre is bisected by the Canal de la Robine, which links to the Canal du Midi.

As a location Narbonne is hard to beat, situated between the wine areas of Minervois and Corbieres, the pretty countryside is covered in vineyards and olive groves. Cathar castles and pretty villages abound, plus the endless sandy beaches of the Mediterranean are just a 20 minute drive.

Narbonne is known as the crossroads of the south, with Spain an hour away by car, its railway station with TGV connections to Paris (4 hours), Marseille (3hours), Barcelona (2hours), motor rail, Beziers, Carcassonne, Perpignan and Montpellier airports all within an hours drive, it is easy to understand why.
