The gite is in Gignac la Nerthe, which is near Aix en Provence, Bouches du Rhone, Cote D'Azur, France.
It is only 10 minutes from the Mediterranean Coast, a beautiful coast-line of beaches and idyllic small bays. It is within easy access of motorways to Marseille, Aix-en-Provence and 15 minutes to the nearest airport.
There are two beaches on the Mediterranean coast less than 10 minutes away by car. There is also a water sports beach within 15 minutes as well. Other ‘Coté Bleu’ beaches can be reached in less than 20 minutes by car, giving you ample choice. The Calanques - These are rocky coves and inlets and you can take various boat trips from Marseille and surrounding coastal towns to visit these.
Marseille airport (BA, Easy Jet and Ryanair) 15 mins. Vitrolles TGV station 15 mins. Nimes airport 1 hour. Nice airport 2 hours. Avignon airport (1 hour).
Gignac 2km with supermarket, bakers, bank and local shops. Chateauneuf-de-Martigues 5km. (Nearest large supermarket)Aix-en-Provence 34km (20 mins). Marseille centre (20 mins). Avignon 91km (1 hour). Gap (Alps)180km (2 hours). |

Includes an open-plan lounge with fully equipped kitchen, dining and seating areas. Two bedrooms and bathroom lead off from the lounge. A private courtyard with covered pergola and garden table and chairs, offers a beautiful view of the countryside and of the pool.
Electrical heaters in bedrooms and bathroom. Reversible air-conditioning.
The gîte is on one level. There is one step to access the property.

Sofa-bed in the lounge. Baby cot if needed.
Bathroom - 1 shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.

Living Room - A bright open-plan living and dining area. Includes table, chairs and comfortable corner sofa. Also bookshelves with books and games to keep you entertained. Free Wifi access available and satellite TV. |

Shared use of a fully-enclosed large pool, which is south-facing making it quite a sun trap. Sun-loungers, deckchairs and parasol are provided for your comfort.
Ideal for families as the outside area and pool is completely enclosed. The pool is fitted with self-closing gate adhering to French standards.
A private courtyard with covered pergola and garden table and chairs, offers a beautiful view of the countryside. Shared use of a large pool which can also be lit up at night. |

Situated in the countryside it is excellent for walking, cycling and horse-riding. There are also water-sports, bowling, and lots of good restaurants nearby. Possible to go skiing for the day during ski-season.
