L'Ermatage sur le Mer, pool and near beach

As you leave the cottage you can stroll down the river with its cafés, floating restaurants and boat trips. Just beyond you reach the sandy beach of which flies two EU blue flags for quality and environment.

For a little more excitement, within a 10 minute drive there is an Aqua park, fun fair, Casino, Aquarium, Go-carting and many sport complexes.

There are many Golf courses in the area; the closest Cap D'Agde golf course is a 5 minute drive. Others close by are Golf St Thomas and Lamalou Les Bains - one public and one private. Details are available on request.

Or you can wonder the historical cobbled streets of Agde and Pezinas musing at the artists painting or pick up a bargain in the many antique shops. To top it all the wine isn't bad in this area either.

Travel
Access to the area couldn’t be easier: Bezier vias Airport 10 minutes, Montpellier Airport is 40 minutes, Carcassonne Airport 1 hour, Perpignan Airport 45 minutes. Agde station on main line is 5 minutes away, 7 hours from London St Pancras by TGV. (1 change). All the budget car hire companies are easily accessed from the airports and train stations. Or take the beautiful drive down through the centre of France, the roads are generally uncrowded and the views are breathtaking.

Distances
All shops, restaurants, bars, cafes are within 5/10 minutes walking distance. Although you may need to prise yourself from the tranquillity of the cottage, here are a few areas I would recommend, travel times are by car; Agde city – 5 mins. Cap d Agde – 5 mins. Pezinas – 15 mins. Sete – 20 mins. Carcassonne – 1 hour. Collioure – 1.5 hour.

Living Rooms - Open-plan air conditioned lounge with a large LCD screen connected to UK Satellite channels, DVD player, PS2 with football and dance mat and a stereo system. Large sofas (one incorporates a double sofa bed) sliding glass doors to terrace and pool area.

The whole property has been completely refurbished spring 2008.

The house and grounds are perfect for family holidays and will suit guests in all age groups. The villa has air-conditioner/heater to the living room and all other rooms have built-in heaters with several fans to be used where needed.

Free WIFI for all guests to use.

The garden is approx 800 sq mtrs. The house is 185 sq mtrs.

The secluded garden has a very relaxed atmosphere with mature Eucalyptus trees, Mediterranean plants Fig trees and flowers, even a mature lemon tree that produces fabulous fruit for all to eat.

The patio has a parasol covered table and chairs for the all important alfresco dining. For the active there is outdoor table tennis, and plenty of space to run or kick a ball about. You can even play badminton or volley ball with the net between the trees.

There is gated parking for up to 7 vehicles.

Alongside the alarmed private (solar panel) heated swimming pool (6x4m), there is the exterior shower and for total respite, the sun loungers. For the little ones, a paddling pool is also provided.

The cottage is all on one floor; however, the width of the doorways makes it unfortunately unsuitable for wheelchairs. There are also a few steps up to the entrance of the cottage and three steps down into the lounge.
