The house is in the peaceful village of Nizas which is only 5km away from the lively town of Pezenas which is famous for its architecture and antique shops. There you will find a large selection of food shops, restaurants and a lively market every Saturday.

Nizas itself has a post office, grocers, bakers and bar that serves snacks.

This historic medieval property was originally part of the castle 'circulade' walls. Today it sits in an enviable part of the sleepy wine producing village of Nizas, just a 5 minute drive from the bustling Renaissance town of Pezenas.

Enter the property at ground floor level where there is a games room - with various board games - and a large lounge with 32" plasma screen TV with UK satellite channels. There are 2 large comfortable sofas, a wood burning stove and a lovely spiral staircase.

A fully equipped French style kitchen with stainless steel appliances, large fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher is off the living room and has space for a table and chairs and French windows opening onto a private terrace.

Laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

Dining can be on the kitchen's 8 seat table or on the terrace's 8 seat table leading off from the kitchen.

Child's bedroom on the ground floor, spiral staircase leading up to the first floor where there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with bath and WC and a large master bedroom with French windows out to another private terrace.

On the second floor there are a further 2 double bedrooms and another bathroom (shower) and WC.

Many of the house's original castle walls are exposed in the large lounge area. Relax on one of the comfortable sofas in front on the 32 inch flat panel TV with SKY. Or enjoy playing a game, reading a book or watch a DVD.

Relax on one of your two private terraces or take a dip in the private contemporary swimming pool.

There are 2 adjoining apartments (Gites) each sleep 2/4 people and can be let individually or together offering an occupancy of up to 18 people.

The apartments are self contained, stylish and have private terraces with amazing views over vineyards.
