Maison Blanche - 5 bedrooms and pool, near beach

The villa is in the seaside village of Grau d'Agde, which is where the Herault river meets the Mediterranean sea.
The Mediterranean sea and beach are only 5 minutes walk with several restaurants, cafes and bars.

It is also 5 minutes walk to the Herault River with water front restaurants.

5 mins walk to 2 of the best family beaches in the area. One in Le Grau d'Agde the other via a little ferry trip across the river to the Tamarissiere beach. A variety of other beaches like Cap d'Agde, Vias or Marsellian are 10 - 20 mins drive away.

The Herault River is 5 mins walk and you can walk along the riverbank into the old town of Agde (20 mins walk) where you will also find the Canal du Midi.

The villa is in the small seaside village of Le Grau d’Agde, edged by the Mediterranean sea and the Herault river. Comfortable and well equipped it has 5 bedrooms, 2 lounges, 2 bathrooms, indoor and outdoor eating areas, a pool for summer months and a log fire for winter.

The village shops have everything you could need plus a daily market (April - November). For good wine and food, especially seafood, and unfussy French living this area is a great place to visit and you will be amongst predominantly French holidaymakers.

Heating and air-conditioning - Ground floor lounge area has a/c unit which doubles as a heating unit for winter months. Dining area has a wall mounted electric heating unit and there is a log/coal burning fire in the centre of the two areas. Kitchen, bathroom and both bedrooms have heating units and bedroom 1 has A/C and heating unit. 1st floor - Lounge area has an A/C and heating unit, all bedrooms and bathroom have wall mounted heating units. Several fans are available for use upstairs or down.

The pool has an alarm system as required by EU law however please note that for toddlers and small children there is no barrier to keep them away from the pool.

The beds in bedroom 5 are 75 cm wide so suitable for children or younger teenagers. A bit small for an adult!

Living Rooms: Ground floor - sofa seating for 8 people. Log burning fire, large TV (with UK freeview chanels), DVD player, CD/radio unit. Adjoining dining area with oak table and 8 chairs.

Other: 1st floor - Lounge area with sofa seating for 5 people, TV with DVD and CD/radio unit. Triple doors (fully glazed) to balcony.

The villa is at the end of a private road with fully secure walled garden areas to front and rear. The front garden is 120 sq ms, fully paved with outdoor table and seating for 9 people, brick built BBQ, swimming pool (8m x 4m with an alarm system), small pool house, flower beds and olive tree. Rear garden is 40 sq ms, grassed with flower beds, fig tree and Muscat grape vines and an automated irrigation system - beware!

1st Floor - Triple doors (fully glazed) to balcony with outdoor table & seating for 4 people. Overlooks the front garden & pool area.

Security deposit 350 euros to be given to housekeeper on arrival. Linen and cleaning charges will be deducted from this amount and refunded to you at 10.30am on the day of your departure (if not convenient then this can be done the night before).
