The house is in a wonderful location in a hamlet off the beaten track, on the side of a hill overlooking pines, olive trees and vines.
It is in quiet location yet only a few minutes drive to the nearest village which has all amenities including restaurants and bars. It is possible to walk to the village along a track running behind the house which would take about 20 minutes.
The nearest village of Cessenon is just 2.5kms away and has a bakers, butcher, internet cafe, restaurant, small grocery store and a market. It is a 10 minute drive to a large Carrefour supermarket in the next village.
Sunday morning market in St Chinian, well worth a visit.
The town of Beziers is 25 minutes away and the beaches are a 35 minute drive.
Local villages with all amenities including internet cafe, restaurants and bars.

Roquebrun - gorgeous medieval village with a river for bathing and a super restaurant overlooking the river - go early and get a table on the balcony, you won't be disappointed!
Béziers – This historic town is only 25 minutes away and is especially vibrant in August during the annual Féria.
Canal du Midi – This international heritage site links the Mediterranean and Atlantic and is only 3 miles away. It offers easy walks and boat excursions.
Carcassonne – a medieval town with its exceptionally well preserved citadel and walled town only 40 minutes away.
Pezenas – City of Molière with quite exceptional old world charm. Numerous arts and crafts shops and an extensive Saturday market.
Haut-Languedoc National Park – Only 20 minutes to the north imcludes many stunning gorges and sites of beauty. Suitable for watersports, walking and fishing.
Bassin de Thau – an inland sea providing a breeding place for oysters and shellfish which are a local specialty. Ideal for windsurfing and sail boarding.
Cap D’Agde and Gruissan – these two towns offer everything you might wish from the Mediterranean. Both have fun water parks and offer a range of water sports and sailing opportunities with lovely clean beaches nearby. Other quieter beaches are not far away for those who prefer some privacy.
The house was formerly a wine store but has been beautifully restored and now provides luxurious accommodation of spacious living areas and 4 large bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bath or shower room.
Enter through the door directly into the huge living area of 100m2 with superb high vaulted ceilings.
There is a fully fitted kitchen with oven, microwave, 5 gas hobs and dishwasher. Everything is new and of a very high quality.
The dining area consists of a long wooden table with seating for 10, next to two French doors opening out onto the terrace and garden.
There is comfortable seating with three sofas, flat screen TV with UK satellite channels, DVD, and a wood burning stove for winter. Wifi internet.
Large doors open out onto the second terrace area.
On the ground floor also is a utility room with washing machine and sink.
Two bedrooms, both with super kingsize beds, an ensuite, one bath/shower and one with shower. Both bedrooms have direct access via French doors onto the pool area and garden.
Stairs lead to the first floor where there are two bedrooms, both with super kingsize beds.
One bedroom has a bath/shower, basin and WC and the other bedroom has a shower, basin and WC. Both bedrooms have their own small lounge area on the landing consisting of a sofa and small library.
Note; Owners live in private, adjoining accommodation with independent entrance but only some of the time they are generally not in residence for the last 2 weeks of July and all of August as well as the first 2 weeks in June. The pool and garden is for the exclusive use of the clients and not overlooked by the owners.
