Servian is a circular village (circulade), the centre piece of which is the 13th. Century church, perched on top of a hill, surrounded by medieval houses and fortified by ramparts.
The village is in the countryside in the middle of vineyards, and is ideally placed to enjoy a wide variety of activities offered by the different landscapes of the region - the coast, lakes and rivers, and the Haut Languedoc National Park, with it's stunning hills and river gorges.
Activities include horseriding, hiking, swimming, fishing, rafting, canoeing, sailing, tennis, golf and naturism.
There is a municipal swimming pool in Servian and the garden St.Adrien is a must for botanists.
Spring and summer are the seasons for village fetes and festivals, celebrating local culture and produce; while the local wine can be tasted all year round!
Servian is only 25 km from the family friendly beaches of Valras and Vias, where there is a funfair during the summer months.
The village is 15 km each from Beziers and Pezenas; in Beziers, visit the Canal du Midi and the Nine Locks; or the Allees Paul Riquet, the beautiful tree-lined boulevard of shops and restaurants, home to the Friday flower market, said to be one of the best in the South.
Pezenas is the home of the playwright Moliere, arts and crafts and antiques, and buzzes with activity during the summer.
Servian is served by good travel links; Beziers airport is 20 minutes away while Montpellier is about 1 hours drive.
The A75 motorway to Pezenas is free from Clermont-Ferrand.
