The house is situated in the beautiful, traditional village of Tourbes, which has all essential amenities such as grocery shop, tobacconists / newsagent, restaurant, café, bar, wine cave, butcher and chemist.
There is a small market on a Wednesday which has a fish stall and a greengrocer.
Also in the village is a park with children's play area, tennis courts and boules court.
The award-winning cave is open for wine tasting in the week and Saturdays until midday. It sells local wines either on draft or by the bottle.
Fantastic town of Pézenas is a two minute drive, don't miss the huge Saturday market.

| DESCRIPTION: |
This house is very private and situated on the edge of the village of Tourbes, just a couple of minutes drive from Pézenas.
All amenities in Tourbes are within walking distance and include a grocers, tobacconists/newsagent, restaurant, café, bar, wine cave, butcher and chemist.
The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with dishwasher, oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, breakfast table and chairs. A door leads out to the front terrace.
The large living/dining room also has access onto the front terrace and also the pool area. It has dining table and chairs, TV with DVD, and a wood-burning stove.
There is a handy utility room with large freezer, washing machine and dryer.
One of the double bedrooms is on the ground floor and has a TV and DVD.
Stairs lead to the first floor where there are 2 further bedrooms, one with two single beds (preferably for children) and another with a double bed.
There is a bathroom with shower and hand basin and separate WC on this floor.

LOCAL AMENITIES
Beautiful Mediterranean beaches are just 20 minutes drive away, all with beachfront cafés and fabulous seafood restaurants.
The lively town of Pézenas is only a couple of minutes drive and has plenty to entertain visitors in July and August with a variety of festivals, street theatre, concerts and exhibitions.
There is a myriad of pavement cafés where you can relax and enjoy the slower pace of life in the south and Pezenas has many excellent restaurants to choose from.
You will enjoy wandering around the tiny back streets and admire the amazing architecture and numerous fascinating shops. You will also find some wonderful artisan shops where you can watch a variety of goods such a leather belts and mosaic work being made. Sometimes they even let you have a go!
The famous Saturday market is well worth a trip, allow a few hours to see it all!
Further afield are the Pont du Gard, the fortified city of Carcassonne, Avignon and the Camargue for great days out.
For the children, the giant water park with slides and pool, AquaLand at nearby Cap d'Agde will keep them amused for hours. And there is always the Casino for the adults!
