The house is located 10km from the town of Bedarieux, 40km from the Mediterranean beaches.

This is an area of outstanding natural beauty, a haven of unspoilt mountains, rivers, gorges and woodlands teeming with bird life and a mass of wild flowers in Spring.

You can swim in the rock pools of the deep gorges that run steeply down from the mountains or do serious hiking up to the top and on a clear day see the Mediterranean shimmering on the horizon.

For the less energetic the mature garden and pool also have wonderful views across the valley to the mountains.

The sea is about 30km and great fun for a day out shopping swimming and staring!!

The top floor bedroom is a lovely big room with views and is simply a gorgeous retreat.

There is NO internal staicase between the ground floor bedrooms and the first floor, making it unsuitable accomodation for young children unless adults occupy the adjoining room.
