LOCATION:

The river orb is nearby offering the chance for kayaking and swimming and it is a thirty minute drive up into the mountains for stunning views. Beziers town with its wonderful cathedral and good shopping is a ten minute drive.

The nearest beach is Valras Plage which is approximately 25 minutes by car. It has a wide expanse of sandy beach with numerous bars and restaurants to choose from.

However there are numerous beach resorts along the coast some with welcoming beach bars. Cap d'Agde is a buzzing beach resort with many bars and restaurants, and also a water park. There is also a large marina.

Golf
There is an 18 hole golf course at Golf St Thomas close to Beziers and a 9 hole course at Lamelou Le Bain. Cap d'Agde beach resort also has a golf course.

Travel
The nearest airport is Beziers/Cap d'Agde (20 minutes drive) with flights arriving from Luton and Bristol.
Carcassonne and Montpellier airports are within an hour's drive.

This 2 storey town house is ideally situated in the heart of Cazouls les Beziers and provides extremely light and airy self catering, comfortable accommodation which is perfect for a couple.

The house is full of character and benefits from a number of original features as well as being fully renovated to a high standard to include all the modern comforts one would expect.

On the first floor there is a private courtyard type terrace with access from both the lounge and bedroom

Parking is available in the village square 1 minute from the house

ACCOMMODATION:
  • You enter the property directly into a generous long hallway with an open-plan kitchen and dining area which has a dining table with seating for four. The fully-equipped new kitchen with fridge-freezer, cooker, microwave, washing machine, and plenty of storage space. There is also a WC on this floor.
  • At the end of the long hallway there is a spacious bathroom
  • There are 2 stairways leading to the first floor bedroom and lounge area with the original ceiling beams
 
SUITABILITY:

The property has spiral staircases which may not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems.
 
LOCAL AMENITIES

The market town has a few local shops and benefits from an excellent fresh produce market every Thursday and Saturday mornings. There are 3 local bakeries, an excellent shell shop, a small grocery in the village square and then there are 2 excellent supermarkets at end of the village.

Within a 30 minute drive there is a superb choice of Mediterranean beaches - Valras, Vendres, Serignan, Portiragnes, Vias and Cap D'Agde. In the other direction you can drive into the High Languedoc National Park. As well as the famous Canal du Midi approximately 15 minutes drive away.

There are 2 bikes and 2 sets of golf clubs available for use.
