LOCATION:

Located on the second and third floor in an old town house in the historic centre of Sete.

It is situated in the heart of the picturesque old town and, as it faces inwards into a enclosed area of homes, it is also very quiet.

The nearest beach is a 10 minute walk away. And just 5 minutes' drive away, or a 20 minute walk, is a beach that stretches for 10 miles.

One minute from the central Place de la Mairie, the Grand Canal, the port, the fish market and many restaurants.
 
DESCRIPTION:

The apartment has been recently renovated in a fresh and modern way.

Upstairs is a large living room of almost 50m2 which is bright and airy with bed settee and velux windows in the roof.

A large sliding glass door leads to a small and very private roof terrace which has views over the rooftops to the port and the inland lake.

The living room also includes a practical open-plan kitchen in one corner.

There are two bedrooms - one with double bed and one with a single bed that pull out to a double bed.

One bathroom downstairs with a shower and washing machine.

The apartment is lovely and cool as it is breezy.
 
OUTSIDE:

Roof terrace with views over the rooftops to the port and the inland lake.

Parking available on the road just 50m away or there are two municipal car parks, also around 50m from the apartment.
 
GENERAL:

A wonderful location and great renovated apartment. Ideal for a relaxing holiday in the South of France. The apartment is well equipped and an ideal for a couple or small family.

This apartment is ideal for couples and small families.
As it's up several stairs so not suitable for the old, infirm or very young.
 
LOCAL AMENITIES

The apartment is in the heart of this beachside town. Sete itself is wonderful, and the Camargue, Montpellier, Arles, Beziers, Nimes, Carcassonne, Muscat vineyards, high hills and lakes are all within easy reach (even Spain is less than two hours away).

The area also boasts loads of culinary treats, including fabulous fresh fish, Italian food specialities (such as tielle - a squid and mussel pie), oyster cultivation in the etang, and a great many restaurants lining the canal and port.
