"Wow - top house, top location, top pool - you don't need anything more".

"What a fabulous house - felt right at home as soon as we arrived! Beautiful location and views and the house offering all the comforts of home".

"The property is exactly as described on the website but what does not come across is that this is clearly a much loved family home and it was lovely to be able to share this."

"We had a great time - it really is a lovely house and the place was so quiet ... my son adored the Duplo ... his best friend from school was staying elsewhere on the Domaine so they came round a few times and all the children from age 9 to 4 were well amused! Thanks again for all your efforts, we really realised how well you look after your guests when our friends moaned that they had no information in their house at all. Well done! It really helped."

What an amazing time we had at Pont Royal in this villa. A real home away from home. The villa is well equipped with everything you can imagine and with a book and dvd collection to rival Amazon! If you like exploring like we do, the villa is perfectly located for many days out in the surrounding area from the beaches to the Luberon. The owners of the villa have an extensive list of suggested outings and restaurants that they recommend and we worked our way through them and loved them all! Pont Royal itself is fantastic and there is so much to do in the actual resort for the children and for the grown ups. A choice of pools within the resort with the amazing wave pool and super slides at the main resort which our children loved. Then there are activities galore from mini golf, to paintball to horse riding and of course for golf lovers an amazing 18 hole course and a mini course for children / beginners. Lovely bars for drinks on the terrace and a good Italian restaurant. We would highly recommend a holiday in this villa and at Pont Royal.

On the 3rd June 2012 we escaped the rain in the UK and returned to the idyllic surroundings of Pont Royale in Provence.
It was so relaxing to be amongst the beautiful countryside and feel the warmth of the sun. We immediately felt at home entering the bright, clean and airy villa. Being somewhat ‘picky’ in my choice of accommodation, it was lovely to see the villa maintains its high standards of cleanliness and amenities. It is so tastefully decorated with a real feel of ‘Provence’.
There have been additions to the extremely helpful location guide giving great inspiration for places to visit. On such recommendation we took our two children aged 12 and 10 yrs to St Remy to the Van Gogh museum which we all loved. Its quiet serenity really helped us picture Van Gogh at work and understand a little more of him as a man. DVDs of ‘Dr Who’ at the villa with the episode on Van Gogh was a must before we visited and the children came away really inspired!
Our children are older now and so didn’t need the fantastic collection of good condition- mostly new-children’s toys provided at the villa, but there was still plenty for them to do- they loved the new play area in the village and we spent a day at the pools and waterslides- great fun! The local pools specifically for the villa remain well maintained and we had them mostly to ourselves!
We enjoyed eating in, enjoying watching the sun go down- and the moon rise over the mountains whilst eating on the terrace. The local market at the Pont Royal village and neighbouring surpermarches and village shops provided excellent local produce and the array of cookery books at the villa inspired us to try and eat ‘french’!
Thank you for such a lovely week- just what we needed – with all you provide to make the stay so comfortable, we felt so relaxed and didn’t want to leave! We will return soon !

Local activities include zip wiring, hiking, cycling, canoeing, golf, horse riding, fishing, tennis.

Golf
This wild, peaceful golf course reflects Provence and its architect, the late great Seve Ballesteros. A very fine test of golf where his trademarks of huge bunkers, well-placed trees and water hazards fit in beautifully with the natural ravines and undulations. Whatever the level (green card required) golfers will enjoy measuring themselves against the tactical challenges of a stimulating course. 18 holes - par 72 - considered to be among the finest in France. The Masters 13 Tournament is played in Pont Royal every October. A new six hole course with driving range and club house opened in April 2010 and is situated directly by Le Hameau des 3 Collines.
