Why the owner chose a home in this location:
We have visited this area of France for many years and love the light and scents of provence, it never fails to lift our spirits. The location of the villa allows us to walk down to the centre to be involved in the hustle and bustle of the town or just relax around the pool and potter in the garden, depending on our mood. If feeling energetic we dust off the bicycles and ride around the country lanes up to the foot of the Alpilles.

Unique benefits of the property :
We found the town to be a central point to all sorts of places of interest and activities, the town holds lots of fêtes and specialist events, there are lots of vineyards and olive oil producers to visit in the local area. We chose this villa because of the large garden and the privacy it affords us. The garden is still evolving and we love planning and bringing our vision ever closer to completion.

The villa is detached and in a large garden which has two levels, there are lovely lavender lined rustic steps leading down to the lower level where you will find the private pool, there are mature oaks which cast welcome shadows where you can shelter out of the heat of the day, if you are quiet you may be visited by the local red squirrels. The upper garden wraps around the villa, there is a pergola over the south facing terrace which has wisteria and fragrant Jasmine providing cover where you can relax and sip local wines.

There is parking space for two cars (medium to small size) on the hard-standing inside the gates to the villa. There is gravel to all the non planted areas on both levels of the garden. The villa and garden are not suitable for young children (under the age of 5).

The pool is 8m by 4m and has three corner steps into it, the shallow end is 0.90 m and the deep end is 1.8m it has a salt filtration system so you will not suffer red sore eyes which chemically filtered pools can cause, it is heated by the sun, average summer temperature is 18 to 22 degrees.

There are plenty of areas around the pool or other areas of the gardens to set up the chairs or sunbeds either in the sun or in the shade of the oak trees.
