There is plenty of good outdoor furniture and we spent many a pleasant hour using the very comfortable seating under the pergola, quaffing the local wine. A full size cot and highchair were provided for baby, which he appreciated.

St Rémy de Provence is the focus for all sorts of places of interest and activities. The town holds lots of fêtes and specialist events. There are lots of vineyards and olive oil producers to visit in the local area. We chose this villa because of the large garden and the privacy it affords us. The garden is still evolving and we love planning and bringing our vision ever closer to completion.

We had visited this area of France for many years and love the light and scents of Provence which never fail to lift our spirits. The location of the villa allows us to walk down to the centre to be involved in the hustle and bustle of the town or just relax around the pool and potter in the garden, depending on our mood. If feeling energetic we dust off the bicycles and ride around the country lanes up to the foot of the Alpilles.
