Well, the holiday is over! However, having just got back into a routine at home, I thought I would let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in Argeliers.
The house was just perfect. There was enough space for the 12 of us to enjoy either individual space or having a laugh around the pool. Mr Marande was there to meet us when we arrived and showed me around. Everything was ready for us, the bedrooms and bathrooms clean and the kitchen was well equipped.
I, and my friends would definitely recommend this property and we are seriously thinking of going back again next year.
Thank you once again for all your help throughout the booking and securing of the property and would ask you to send our sincere thanks to the owners for allowing us to use their lovely house."

The Aude ... The Cathar country
From the Mediterranean to the Pyrenees, the Aude Cathar Country possesses a large variety of landscapes and prestigious sites. Spectacular sites to be enjoyed : the authentic Cathar castles, the Romanesque abbeys and cloisters, or enjoy watching the pink flamingos flight over seaside lagoons.
The medieval walled town of Carcassonne lies on the right bank of the River Aude and is featured on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. It has 52 towers and 2 rings of town walls making a total of 3 km of battlements. There is no restriction on access to this area of Carcassonne. It is still home today to its population of approximately 120 and it boasts a large number of shops and craftsmen.
You can also linger in the shade of the tow paths bordered with three hundred year- old trees along the Canal du Midi, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Aude Cathar Country : numerous authentic Cathar castles, Carcassonne, Queribus...
The region is rich in natural beauties: The Giant Chasm of Cabrespine, Aguzou and Limousis' cave.
