Villa Masefield - 4 bedrooms and pool

The villa is only 5 minutes in the car from the buzz of Pezenas with all its restaurants and craft shops etc. The villa is walking distance of the village of Tourbes with a wonderful Patisserie, village shop that sells most things including English papers (if you really want them!) and chemist. Tourbes has a mini market on Wednesday mornings with mobile shops present selling charcuterie etc.

Beach is between 20 mins & ½ hr away depending which way you go.

There are at least 2 Golf Clubs which can be found within 10-20 minutes of the villa. Ideal for golfers.Plenty of room for golf club storage.

The villa is a few minutes walk from Tourbes and quite near the large medieval town of Pezenas.

Gatwick-Montpellier is 1½hr flight and 45 mins drive max to the villa. New Flights to Beziers now from Luton with Ryanair and Montpellier from Stansted, or take the Eurostar from Waterloo to Avignon (see Rail Europe for times). Avignon is only 1½ hrs away. Leave Waterloo at 7.30am and arrive in Avignon around 2.30pm a wonderful way to travel if you have the time.

Other options are Carcassonne, Nimes, Perpignan.

NEW FOR 2011 Flights from Southampton to Beziers with FLYBE - 10-15mins from Villa

If driving down, take the A75 route via Clermont Ferrand and experience the Viaduct de Millau, the tallest bridge in the world. This will save at least 1 hour on the journey. There are tolls as far as Clermont Ferrand and a toll on the bridge otherwise free to Beziers! Approx 10 + hours from the Shuttle.

From Calais take the A26 via Paris, then the A10 towards Bordeaux and fork off south to Clermont Ferrand on the A71 which leads onto the A75 towards Montpellier & Beziers via the new Viaduct de Millau, saving at least one hours drive. Or the motorway via Reims, Dijon and Avignon, heading towards Spain. Take the signs to Beziers and there is now a motorway to the south of Pezenas.

Try the new Waterloo to Avignon service on the Eurostar approx only 1½ hrs from Villa. A wonderfully relaxing way to travel.

Flights from Gatwick with Easyjet to Montpellier. Stansted to Montpellier and many new routes ie. Southampton to Toulouse, also Easy Jet Gatwick to Toulouse or Marseille both 2hrs from Pezenas or Barcelona approximately 3 hrs from Pezenas. New route from Bristol & Southampton to Beziers only 10-15 mins from the villa now the A75 is finished through to the A9.

The accommodation consists of small hallway with WC leading to open plan dining room and sitting room.

Separate large kitchen with all mod cons.

On the ground floor is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom, twin bedroom with en suite shower. Separate loo serving both bedrooms.

Upstairs there is a further double bedroom and twin bedroom.

Changeover: generally on a Saturday in high season. The villa will be ready for occupation from 4.00pm and it should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure at the latest. Linen & towels included. Please bring your beach towels.
