Ideally situated between Narbonne and Carcassonne, Pouzols-Minervois is a peaceful wine-growing village and a wonderful base for exploring the Minervois and the wider Aude region. The surrounding countryside is a beautiful mix of vineyards, olive groves, charming villages and the foothills of the Montagne Noire.
Around 15km away, the spectacular village of Minerve is a must-visit. Listed among the Plus Beaux Villages de France, it sits dramatically on a rocky spur overlooking the gorges of the Cesse and Brian rivers. Steeped in Cathar history, Minerve is also a fantastic spot for walking and hiking.
The region is rich in opportunities to discover local food and wine. Just 6km from the property, in Bize-Minervois, the L'Oulibo olive cooperative offers an insight into the area's olive-growing traditions and local produce. The surrounding country lanes are perfect for exploring the vineyards and olive groves, while cyclists can enjoy the nearby Canal du Midi and walkers will find numerous trails through the Minervois countryside.
For days out further afield, Carcassonne and its famous medieval cité are easily accessible, while Narbonne offers a historic centre, the renowned Les Halles market and easy access to the Mediterranean coast. Around Pouzols-Minervois itself, you'll find local markets, wine estates, cellars and producers where you can experience the flavours and traditions of the region.

- 4 independent air-conditioning units provide cooling throughout the first floor. Note there is no air conditioning on the ground floor, however, the walls are very thick stone so this floor tends to stay cool even during heatwaves.
- The private pool measures approx 9x x 3m and is heated by heat pump from 1st June to the 30th September. Pool heating is included during this period. Heating outside of these dates may be available upon request.
- The pool is cleaned every Saturday morning (the pool man has a key)
- 500 kWh of electricity is included per week. Any additional electricity consumption is charged at €0.22 per kWh.
- Guests are asked to empty and clean the two pool skimmers during their stay to help maintain good pool filtration.
- In July and August, a minimum stay of 7 nights applies, with Saturday arrival and departure.
- The whole property is available exclusively to guests.
- Wi-Fi is available.
