Set in 37 acres of vineyards, a 5-acre park and surrounded by French gardens designed in the 18th century, this substantial estate will surely seduce you. From the elegant main house, to the intricate boxwood parterre designs, passing by the basins and fountains all powered by natural springs, and finally to its endless vineyard, everything in the property conveys luxury and legacy.

Situated on a hill, the house faces south, enjoying maximum sun exposure. It is organised over 3 floors. On the ground floor, visitors are welcomed into a large wing where three adjoining reception rooms look onto the gardens and terrace. The decoration is unassuming and sophisticated throughout, perfectly blending contemporary designs with second-empire-style furniture and a few accent pieces, such as the baroque mirror on top of the mantelpiece at the far end of the reception room. Hard to miss, one of these rooms has a grand concert-grade Erhard piano. Also on this floor, guests will enjoy a formal dining room for 12 in perfect traditional style. You can enjoy a feast with your family and friends and let the rosso levanto marble mantelpiece, coffered ceilings, and chandelier transport to a forgone era. The large kitchen is equipped with all the modern appliances, a smaller dining table, and a utility room. This level is completed by a separate TV room and a toilet.

On the first floor, there are 6 large bedrooms, 5 of them have en-suite bathrooms and there is an extra dormitory room with 3 single beds (without A/C).

On the second floor, there are 2 other double bedrooms, a large open playroom, a small bathroom and a shower room.

Step outside to the south-facing terrace where you will find a covered dining area as well as a summer kitchen fully equipped with oven, stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, tableware, and large plancha. Continue wandering through the garden to find the large 15-meter-long swimming pool is surrounded by a stone terrace, fitted with plenty of deck chairs and loungers.

The property has an old tennis court, rackets can be found in the house. There is a pétanque court (game of boules) next to the pool, a ping-pong table, and lots of board games and cards. For a longer walk, the house has direct access to the vineyards.

Domaine de Gourjo is within a walking distance from the shops and the village of Clermont l'Hérault. A few kilometers away from Montpellier, Saint-Guilhem le Désert, Pézénas, Sète and Lac du Salagou, this property is the ideal location to discover the great cultural variety of "Terres d'Hérault" (e.g. sports, culture, oeno-tourism, etc.), an area which was officially designated a UNESCO Global Geopark in 2026.

Parking for a few cars is possible on the property and bicycle rental is available just down the road.

During July and August from Monday to Friday, a domestic help will be at your disposal in the kitchen for 3 hours every day to help prepare lunches, tidy up the kitchen, and serve breakfast

Private chef and chauffeur are also available upon request.

A very discreet property caretaker lives at the back of the property and only share the driveway.

We are sorry to inform you that no evening weddings are possible anymore at the property, and that only lunch weddings for small parties are allowed.  Unfortunately no evening music or festivities are possible at all.

For bookings between the second week of July and the end of August, an extra help in the kitchen will be at your disposal for 5 days a week during 3 hours in the morning to help prepare lunches, tidy up the kitchen, deliver bread and croissants for breakfast

"Het is een mooie Villa met goede binnenruimtes. Wel is alle apparatuur verouderd, maar wel werkend. Maar de buitenruimte is werkelijk spectaculair! De 18de eeuwse tuinen en alle beplantingen zijn indrukwekkend. Een volledige wijngaard waar je doorheen kan lopen. Een heerlijk groot zwembad met fijne buitenruimte en aangrenzende keuken. En tot onze verbazing kregen we een eigen kok tot onze beschikking die het ontbijt, de lunch en het schoonmaken van de keuken op zich nam. Verder is de locatie echt perfect. Op het landgoed zit je erg privé en afgelegen. Maar op 5 min lopen zitten al bijna alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt en op 15min lopen een dorpje met al het andere wat je maar nodig kan hebben. Daarnaast is het een perfecte uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te ontdekken en je zit ook zo met de auto bij de haven/strand voor allemaal wateractiviteiten. Een waanzinnige tijd gehad hier. Zeer aan te raden!"

"Truly a magnificent holiday destination. Olivia was wonderful as was Mr Ruiz the gardener who was always helpful and with a smile. He brought us vine trimmings to smoke food on the BBQ. Peaceful gardens, everything you need within walking distance and plenty of fun things to do. Pool is delicious and the Summer kitchen (not shown in the pictures) is great too. 10/10
